LIVE: GSHPA Webinars - Education is the Key

This Webinar was presented by Andrea Ellison who is Treasurer and a Director of GSHPA. Andrea was a teacher and head-teacher for many years; having taught, and been responsible for, all Key Stages.
Over the years Andrea has been passionate about educating pupils on the issues of climate change and sustainability and she has written ‘off the shelf’ Schemes of Work for Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 for teachers to use in their classrooms.
Her webinar includes a brief summary of National Curriculum inclusion of climate change and sustainability within their orders since its inception in 1988 as well as teaching styles, the content of the ‘ready to teach’ schemes of work, resource ideas, pupil career options and the current National and International teacher requirements.
This is one not to be missed by anyone involved in educating children – from those who compile the legal documents of what is to be taught to all those trying to educate their children during lockdown.
